Whattay.

This exchange took place a few hours ago between my mother and my seven year old sibling. I was quite amused. And hence:

Esha:Meri teacher ne mujhe ITNA SAARA HOMEWORK DIYA HAII!!

Mum: Haye meri becharee bachee. Tum tou saara dinn kaam kar kar ke thakk gayee hogee.

Esha:*thinking she must put mum's concerns to rest* nai....itna kaam nai kiya... subah ko kiya thaa.. 10 se 11 bajay takk.. haan...phir time hee nai mila..

Mum:*on high alert* Acha baita? Kya masroofiaat theein aapkee?

Esha:Sona.... tv dekhna..cycle chalaana.....buhat kaam hota hai...

Mum:Baita, mein aap kee pitaai karoon?

Esha: NAI NA MEINE AAJ ITNEE DAIR CYCLE CHALAYEE MEIN GIR BHI GAYEE, AB MEIN THAKK GAYEE HUUN, MEIN SONAY JAARAHEE HOON, KOIEE ISS GHAR MEIN MUJHE CHAIN SE BAITHNE NAI DETA.
